"Emotional Refraction" Not to be Copied

                                                   Emotional Refraction by S. Baber

You stand there in what appears to be a long dark corridor...black and white tiled floor with a graying complexion to it...there seems to be many doors along the corridor but there are no walls...it’s as if it exists in some kind of dream like atmosphere...there are shadowy framed trees and gloomy clouds around.
He isn’t sure if it is her thoughts or his. Where are they at? In front of him He sees her face, the warm caramel tone to her eyes...soft and mesmerizing as if they see clear to his soul and as if her eyes are calling him to her soul.... and then as if she has turned to mist the image gently swirls and floats away...but he feels her heart beating through his veins as if she is still very there and very connected...so is she real or was she a creation of his Desires of what His heart has been longing for...
He proceeds forward...still very much sensing her presence and he goes to open the first door....it is locked...he catches a whiff of here scent, making her so much more real...he carries on..several more doors and several more scenarios of refraction to society...he carries on...as he progresses the skies seem to be less ominous ...
and then there is a very ornate door that catches his attention. He slowly moves toward it and he senses her touch somewhere among that door as if she created it..it was a part of her or something like a finger print...he reaches for the handle and the door slowly starts to open.....
The Rush of a heart beat....the sweet scent hovering in the air...the sound of her voice and laughter tickle the hairs on the back of his neck...a joy and excitement rise up in him...
Another portion of my writing not completed. Couldve done more with this one and who knows I might do that once I revise and finish it...If you pay attention there is a lot of play on words...and deeper interpretation to take from my writings.
{Refraction is the change in direction of a wave due to a change in its speed. This is most commonly observed when a wave passes from one medium to another at any angle other than 90° or 0°. Refraction of light is the most commonly observed phenomenon, but any type of wave can refract when it interacts with a medium, for example when sound waves pass from one medium into another or when water waves move into water of a different depth. Refraction is described by Snell's law. In general, the incident wave is partially refracted and partially reflected}
